Doors,Vents & Screens
These double wide doors will work well for you if you are interested in a larger entrance into your greenhouse. It’s available in two different widths and is lockable and also includes a sliding window with screen. One door is always active and the other door is pinned closed until you decide to open it. They are made of a heavy aluminum framing and are available in white and green. When the doors are fully open the rough opening between the framing would be 60” on the double 32” and 40”on the double 28” door.

If you want to cool your greenhouse quicker and you want it to be automated, the side vent will help. These vents are usually mounted down low on the north wall or cooler side of the greenhouse. Through natural convection the hot air rises out your roof vents and the cool air flows in through the side vents. It’s often used when you don’t have electricity in your greenhouse and an exhaust fan and intake shutter are not options.

It’s mounted on the inside of your greenhouse and is boxed out to accommodate the auto vent-opener. The screen material is similar to screens used in your house windows. The boxed framing is made of painted steel flashing. Some assembly is required.

If you want to cool your greenhouse quicker and want maximum cross ventilation, the glass louver will help. These glass windows are only manually operated and are usually mounted mid-height on the north wall or cooler side of the greenhouse. Through natural convection the hot air rises out of your roof vents and the cool air flows in through the louvers. It’s often used when you just want extra opening window that you can see out of at the plant or bench height.
